Ephemeral Penumbra invokes that nostalgic feeling of being afraid of the dark as a child, allowing the power of a child's imagination to take over. After watching a scary movie, Arthur heads up to his room. His childish imagination runs wild as apparitions begin to appear to him just beyond the dark. After a series of scares, he finally takes one last look around, only to be met with a false sense of safety.
